I offer individual and small-group tutoring to students from middle school through undergraduate. The subject areas I tutor:

  • General middle school and high school science courses and Biology.
  • High school and university Astronomy and Cosmology.
  • High school and university Economics and Introductory Psychology.
  • High school Pre-Engineering programs.
  • Undergraduate level Civil and Mechanical Engineering including:
    • Statics and Dynamics.
    • Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics and Hydrology.
    • Strength of Materials, Mechanics of Materials.
    • Structural Analysis, Steel and Concrete Design.
    • Wood Design, Wood Science, Forestry, and Ecology.

How it Works

I work with students in a variety of formats. I prefer in-person, but I can also meet online over Zoom for folks who would prefer that or are outside the Salem area. For in-person tutoring, I can meet student in their homes, in a tutoring space I have set up in my home in West Salem, or at a third space such as a coffee shop or library.
